Volunteer for 2024-2025 Senate Committee Service
GW has an exceptionally strong record of effective shared governance. This success is dependent on the willingness of faculty to participate in the process. The faculty's role in shared governance at GW depends on well-considered recommendations emanating from representatives from the full spectrum of disciplines and diversity of views at GW.
The Faculty Senate accomplishes this through the hard work of its standing committees; faculty, staff, and students are all welcome to volunteer for Senate standing committees. There are also several university administrative committees open to faculty volunteers through this call; these are not Senate committees, but the Senate assists with staffing the faculty membership for these committees.

The annual call for committee volunteers is now open, and you are invited to volunteer for committee service. Review the committee descriptions for information about the work of the committees, and please direct any questions to Jenna Chaojareon. Please submit your form by Friday, March 22, 2024.
Please Note: Committees are re-staffed each year; existing committee members interested in remaining on a committee should complete this form to register their interest in continued service.
