2026 Faculty Assembly
The annual Faculty Assembly will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. The Assembly will take place in a hybrid environment, and lunch will be served at the in-person location (University Student Center/Grand Ballroom, 3rd floor).
Assembly registration is now open; the agenda will be posted not later than ten days prior to the meeting, in keeping with the Faculty Organization Plan.
Please register for either in-person or virtual attendance. Please do not register for both options, as this impacts the ability to manage an accurate quorum count. If your attendance plans change after you have registered, please contact jenno
gwu [dot] edu (Jenna Chaojareon) for assistance with updating your registration.
In-person attendance registration: Please register by Monday, November 2, so that an accurate count may be provided to catering. In-person attendees are welcome to check in beginning at noon.
- Virtual attendance registration: Voting members of the Faculty Assembly may pre-register for virtual attendance by Tuesday, November 10, at 10am. Please note that registration must be made through your @gwu.edu email address. Once your registration has been approved, you will receive an email with a link to the meeting. Do not share this link, as it is associated with your GW SSO credentials. You will receive a reminder from the Office of the Faculty Senate one hour before the Assembly. Participants who join through video systems or video conferencing systems will not have the ability to view the polling panel that will be used if a counted vote is required. Faculty who participate remotely may be required to sign in using their @gwu.edu credentials to access the voting system.
