Implementation Advisory Subcommittee

To ensure that faculty perspectives and expertise are consulted in the developing plan for implementation of the decision to arm some members of the GWPD, the Physical Facilities and Safety Committee of the Senate (the existing Senate committee charged with monitoring the implementation process) is establishing an Implementation Advisory Subcommittee. This subcommittee will provide input and feedback on policies and procedures under development. It will also help define the scope and charge of the administration-led planned Campus Safety Advisory Committee and will nominate faculty to serve on the administration's Independent Review and Campus Safety Advisory Committees.

We anticipate that this important work will entail a significant time commitment over the coming months. We welcome self-nominations from all full-time faculty. The Faculty Senate will appoint subcommittee members.
