2024 Fall Faculty Assembly
The annual Faculty Assembly will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. The Assembly will take place in a hybrid environment:
- In-person option: Lehman Auditorium (SEH B1220, 800 22nd Street NW); check-in begins at 3:30pm (GWorld card required). A reception will follow the Assembly.
- Online option: Voting members of the Faculty Assembly may pre-register online by Wednesday October 30, at 10am. See below for detailed online registration directions.
For planning purposes, please RSVP to indicate your attendance plans. (Completing the RSVP form is separate from registering for online attendance; instructions for this are below.)
Registration Instructions for Online Attendance
Please register for the virtual Special Assembly by Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 10am. Note that registrations received after 10am may not be processed.
Register for the Assembly using your name, academic title, school, and email address (please note that registration must be made through your @gwu.edu email address).
To register, complete the registration form, and click on the link that says “Register.” Once your registration has been approved, you will receive an email with a link to the meeting. Do not share this link, as it is associated with your GW SSO credentials. You will receive a reminder from the Office of the Faculty Senate one hour before the Assembly.
When it is time for the event, pre-registered faculty should join by following the link they received upon registering. Faculty may be required to sign into zoom with the same email address used for registration. Please note that participants who join through video systems or video conferencing systems will not have the ability to view the polling panel that will be used if a counted vote is required.
